David Capps worked in Jersey’s Finance Industry for 45 years, and for the last third of that time has been chairman of Grace Trust – an honour that has earthed him to reality and enabled him to be of modest, indirect help to islanders who have fallen on hard times. Recently retired, David hopes to have more time to work in some of the Trust’s projects, as demand for them continues to grow.
David is keen on saving and enhancing the environment of our beautiful island, for the benefit of our struggling flora and fauna: an aim which may dovetail with Grace 18 for those seeking the therapy of outside physical work.
David appreciates many kinds of music and the pictorial arts. He has been a lay reader at St Ouen’s Parish Church, his beautiful spiritual home, since 1993; and is a governor of F.C.J Primary School.
